After finishing school, Jessica chased winters, instructing and coaching snowboarding in Tahoe, Oregon and New Zealand, before settling year round in Truckee. She has had a wide range of jobs, including clothing retail, working in kitchens, running lifts, state parks, and coaching snowboarding, giving her experience in a wide variety of fields. When not reviewing gear, she enjoys exploring outdoors, reading novels, and trying new recipes.
